Cape Cod:
- A simple house designed for ease of construction.
- Usually 1 or 1 1/2 stories
- Will often feature a central chimney
- Steeply pitched gable roof
Dutch Colonial:
- Gambrel style roof
- Usually 2 or 2 1/2 stories
- Off center Chimney and central entrance
Colonial:
- Spacious & Comfortable
- Square symmetrical shape
- Decorative crown over front door
- Four to Five windows across front
Victorian:
- Square symmetrical shape
- Large or wrap around Porch
- Spindle work or other decorative trim
- May feature a tower or turret
Ranch:
- Simple one story living
- Rectangle, L , or U shaped
- Attached Garage
- Generally open floor plan
Split Level:
- Opens to a landing with stairs both up and down
- Can also open to lowest level
- Almost always has 3 or more levels
- Half floors separated only a few steps
- Attached garage
Bi-Level:
- Two Levels
- Bottom level either at ground level or partially submerged
- Attached Garage
- Low pitched Gable style roof
Bungalow:
- 1 1/2 Stories
- Open Efficient floor plan
- Low pitched roof design
- Large covered front porch
